Born and raised in the heart of corn country, Whitney adapted well to Kansas wheat country, but always had thoughts in the back of his mind of returning to his home state -- the timing just had to be right. That right time -- sort of -- came last year when Hamilton County Extension educator Jim Schneider resigned, opening the door for Whitney’s return to the Cornhusker State.
