Tifani L. Jones - February 25, 2014

Tifani L. Jones, 43, of Grand Island, formerly of Central City, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City with Reverend Josh Erickson officiating. Burial will be in the Central City Cemetery. There is no visitation.
Tifani was born on Sept. 4, 1970 in Central City to Gerald W. and Linda R. (Holmes) Jones. She grew up in Central City and attended school at Connell School, Walnut Jr. High, and Grand Island Senior High. At the age of 16, Tifani moved to Grand Island and lived at Mosaic Group Home, where she resided her entire life.
She was a member of Special Olympics, and she especially enjoyed bowling. She liked to listen to music, knowing every CD by heart, and watching Richard Simmons. She also loved to play Yahtzee, go for walks, and loved living life.
Survivors include her parents, Gerald and Linda Jones of Central City, NE, brother and sister-in-law, Darby and Robin Jones of White City, KS, three nephews, Kadin, Keylan and Kye Jones, and niece, Kiahna Jones all of White City, KS, and all her housemates at Mosaic in Grand Island, NE.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carroll Holmes and Marie Hopper, and Wilbur and Clover Jones.
