Allen Trompke - September 03, 2013

Allen Trompke, 51, of Marquette, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 6, at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Pastor Mary Scott will officiate. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, 1104 A Street, Aurora.

Allen L. Trompke, son of Larry and Deanna (Spencer) Trompke, was born at Grand Island on Dec. 19, 1961.
He grew up in Grand Island. Allen attended Barr Junior High and went on to graduate from Grand Island Senior High and Hastings Community College.
Allen was very active in his daughter’s sporting activities. He loved Husker football. He had two dogs and a cat that he loved very much. Allen was like a second father to all of Alyson’s friends. .
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his daughter, Alyson Trompke, who is currently attending UNL; mother, Deanna Mohr of Marquette; two sisters, Shari Trompke and Nadine Williams and fiancé Doug Weber all of Grand Island; stepsister, Jennifer (Jim) Klein of Lincoln; four nieces, Joni (Tony) Ayala and family of Savannah, Texas, Jennie (Eric) Wright and family of Grand Forks, N.D., Ashley Zlomke and fiancé Jeremy of Columbus and Heather Zlomke and special friend Adam Emerson of Plano, Texas; a nephew, Robert Olivo and friend Jenn and family of Grand Island and stepfather, Fred Mohr of Marquette. He is also survived by two uncles, Ed (Janet) Spencer and families of Mason City and Jim (Le) Spencer and families of Kearney.
