Mrs. Sundermeier was born to Clarence and Cecil (Miers) Fox on May 13, 1930 in Ord.
She attended school in Ord and was a Majorette with her twin sister Jeannice. When she was a young adult she moved to Grand Island where she worked at the Glove Factory and Hesteds. Jeannine was united in marriage to Virgil Sundermeier on Feb. 12, 1950, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Grand Island. They lived on the family farm where they raised their two daughters and in the spring of 2008 they moved into Grand Island.
Virgil and Jeannine enjoyed RVing and spent many winters in Hemet, Calif. They also enjoyed dancing at the Platte Deutche, meeting new friends, going to the Saddle Club, having lunch with friends at Burger King, and belonged to the Eagles Camping Group.
Jeannine and her identical twin sister, and lifelong friend Jeannice Plate enjoyed shopping together and dressing alike. They acted and dressed so much alike they got not only their friends confused but their family members as well.
