AHS grads bringing King's 'The Shining' to Omaha stage PDF E-mail

For the first time ever, Stephen King’s famous novel “The Shining” will be made into a five-act play and Omaha’s Benson Theater was chosen to be the site of the world-premier on March 21 at 7 p.m. with two more shows March 22.
Oh, and the leading actor and director are from Aurora.
That’s right, the first rendition of one of King’s most known pieces will be done by a couple of ex-Huskies.

Aurora native and L.A. actor Marc Erickson is the leading man, playing the troubled character Jack Torrance.Jason Levering, who helped co-found and is the executive director of the Omaha Film Festival is the director of the play.
