Three football teams remain in state rankings PDF E-mail

The Aurora, Giltner and High Plains football teams continue to garner consideration among the top squads in their respective classes.

Aurora stayed at No. 2 in Class B after its comeback win at Scottsbluff. The World-Herald ratings include Gretna (5-0), Aurora (5-0), Elkhorn South (5-0), Omaha Skutt (4-1), Ralston (5-0), Beatrice (4-1), Crete (3-2), Omaha Gross (3-2), York (4-1) and McCook (4-1).

The Class D2 ratings in the World-Herald include Falls City Sacred Heart (4-0), Shelton (4-0), Giltner (3-1), Fullerton (3-1), Sterling (3-1), Wynot (4-0), Lyons-Decatur NE (5-0), Wallace (5-0), Amherst (4-0) and Hitchcock County (4-0).

High Plains moved up to No. 8 in Class D1. The Omaha paper’s  ratings include Exeter-Milligan (4-0), Howells-Dodge (4-0), West Point GACC (4-0), Creighton (4-0), Overton (4-0), BDS (4-0), Freeman (4-0), High Plains (4-1), Twin Loup (4-0) and Elm Creek (4-0).
