Ferguson excited about opportunity PDF E-mail

A nationwide search to find a new city administrator in Aurora ended with an offer being made Thursday to a familiar face and name who lives just 20 miles away.
The Aurora City Council voted unanimously to offer the job to Marlan Ferguson, former city administrator in Grand Island, who has served for the past 10 years as president of the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corp. Ferguson said he is excited about the chance to come to Aurora, though he won’t officially have the job until terms of his contract have been negotiated and approved by the council.
