Aurora Elementary School will lose a combined 59 years of teaching experience with the resignation of two long-time teachers at the end of the current school year.
Aurora School Board members accepted letters of resignation from Patricia Sheehan, who has taught kindergarten for 37 years, and JoAnn Wendt, third grade teacher for 22 years. Both will retire from the teaching profession.
