After two hours of discussion, Hamilton County commissioners ended up approving two loans with a combined value of $310,000 to help dig Hamilton Manor out of a financial hole.
Manor board members Roger Bamesberger, Wendy Andersen and Clarence Blase told board members a loan of $180,000 was needed to pay delinquent payroll taxes that had been deducted from employee paychecks but never sent to the IRS by Manor administrators. The owed taxes are now accruing interest and possible penalties.
