With the world population expected to grow 2.5 billion by 2050, followed by increased demand for animal protein, there’s a huge opportunity for Nebraska agriculture to grow right along with it.
That was the message from Dr. Ronnie Green, University of Nebraska vice president and Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources Harlan vice chancellor, during the 25th annual Governor’s Ag Conference in Kearney last week.
