Storm in state wrestling duals PDF E-mail

The High Plains wrestling team qualified for the Class D State Wrestling Duals Tournament, scheduled for Saturday at the Health and Sports Center on the Nebraska-Kearney campus.
They are the No. 6 seed and will take on No. 3 seed Bayard on Mat 7 at 3 p.m. with later rounds at 4:30 and 6 p.m. All teams are guaranteed three matches in the state duals tournament.
High Plains will face either second-seed Pender or seventh-seed Neligh-Oakdale in the second round. Amherst, which won Class D last weekend, is the No. 1 seed.
Other teams competing include Plainview, East Butler and Maxwell.
