Hornets stay 2nd after upset loss PDF E-mail

The Giltner and High Plains boys basketball teams stayed at second and eighth, respectively, in this week’s Lincoln Journal Star ratings.
Falls City Sacred Heart (21-3) is first in D2, followed by Giltner (18-4), Spalding/Spalding Academy (20-2), Leyton (18-1), Sterling (16-7), Bancroft-Rosalie (18-5), Wausa (20-2), Wynot (19-3), Humphrey St. Francis (15-7) and Sandhills/Thedford (19-4).
Howells-Dodge (23-0) leads D1, ahead of Kenesaw (21-0), O’Neill St. Mary’s (20-1), Paxton (22-0), BDS (19-3), Pawnee City (19-5), Arapahoe (21-4), High Plains (18-4), McCool Junction (14-5) and West Point GACC (10-13).
Aurora (12-9) is listed as a contender in the Class B ratings going into the B-5 District Tournament at Grand Island Senior High.
