Even though Aurora didn’t make the semifinals of last week’s Central Conference basketball tournament, the boys still had a successful week and finished 2-1.

The Huskies handily defeated visiting Holdrege Saturday afternoon at the Sports Complex 54-43 in a game that was not as close as the score indicates.

On Jan. 22, the boys lost at second-seed Columbus Lakeview 63-47. York went on to win the championship over Crete on Saturday night.
