Local citizens have been meeting behind the scenes with officials from the City of Aurora and the Aquatic Recreation Center to foster progress toward a new pool. Former city councilman Bruce Ramsour, along with Gary Warren, spoke briefly to council members Jan. 8 about the progress this group has made, including a possible resolution to legal issues. City attorney Ross Luzum said the legal hurdles have involved the legality of transferring taxpayer dollars to a private group. |
