Larry Fox and Clarence Trumble closed out a combined 12 years of public service at the end of the year, vacating their seats on the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners.

Fox served as commissioner for District 3 for eight years before choosing not to run for re-election in the 2012 primary election. Trumble served as District 4 commissioner for four years before being defeated by Gregg Kremer in the 2012 primary election.

Looking back, Fox said he had no agenda when he first threw his name in the hat for the position back in 2003, just a desire to make a difference.
