A 28-year-old Aurora woman was killed in a collision at a rural intersection 4-1/2 miles northwest of Aurora at approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. Stephanie Wrick of Aurora was driving her car south when it collided with a westbound pickup driven by Darrin Grosshans, also of Aurora. Wrick was pronounced dead at the scene. Grosshans was taken to a hospital and then released. The accident cause is being investigated. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. Rev. Sheryl Kester Beyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter Payge and son Miles; parents, Bruce and Lisa Wrick of Aurora and brother, Joshua (Samantha) Wrick of Aurora. |
