Fire broke out in pastures owned by Curt Carlson and Barry Handrup north of Marquette on Wednesday afternoon. Six fire departments responded and Traudt Aerial dispatched a plane from the Aurora Airport and dropped three loads of water on the blaze, which burned cedar trees and pasture for about six hours.
