A California-based literacy website crunched a set of numbers related to home ownership and determined that Aurora is No. 5 in a ranking of “The Best Towns in Nebraska for Young Families.” See this week's print or e-edition for details.

 
State golf experience PDF E-mail

A young Aurora girls golf team carded some valuable experience Monday and Tuesday at the Class B State Golf Meet in Lincoln. The Lady Huskies carded a combined 888 team score to finish 12th, battling through wet and cold conditions, especially on Monday, when lightening delayed play for more than an hour. Ag society to request own liquor license PDF E-mail

The Hamilton County Ag Society will ask county commissioners to grant a liquor license rather than a special permit to allow alcohol to be served at next year’s county fair.
